Matrix Controls Highlights Smart Knit Innovations at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025

ITMA Asia + CITME 2025 is the largest exhibition to be held globally each year, and this year is no different. Year 2025’s exhibition’s stage is set in Singapore, where textile giants and technology innovators are meeting in the Singapore Expo, showcasing the world of textile, yarn manufacturing, technological advancements and innovations that will shape the future of the global textile industry.

This year marks the 24th year of ITMA Asia, with the first exhibition held in 2001. ITMA Asia – helmed by Japan Textile Machinery Association since 1951 and CITME founded in 1988 by the China Textile Machinery Association (CTMA) joined hands together in 2008 to hold the world’s most vital platform in textile for discovering cutting-edge automation, sustainable production methods, and emerging market trends, driving the future of the textile and knit manufacturing industry forward.

Making a big impact this year at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025, Matrix Controls is showing its latest knit monitoring, defect detection and production optimization systems that are transforming the way knit fabrics are being manufactured today.

At ITMA 2025, Matrix Controls leadership and engineering team will introduce F-4000 scanner and MKMS 4.0, its latest generation of knit machine monitoring & knit monitoring management system, which eliminates knit waste, while improving production efficiency throughout the knit manufacturing process, and providing real-time data intelligence for knitting operations.
Visitors will be able to meet the team and see live demonstrations of fabric defect scanning, yarn rate measurement and IoT-based machine connectivity which is showing how automation and data analytics power smarter and more sustainable knit processes.

ITMA Asia provides us with the perfect platform for engaging directly with worldwide knit manufacturers,” comments Matrix Controls CEO Aleem Abid. “Our vision is simple – globally, the knitting industry could eliminate any wastages, by simple defect detection mechanisms

At the event, Matrix Controls engineering team members have been meeting with knit manufacturers and technology partners to demonstrate innovations for smarter factory integration, predictive maintenance and real-time defect alerts aimed at increasing operational efficiency and reducing downtime.
