Enhanced Engineering Consulting Services

The following is a representative list of enhanced engineering and consulting services offered by Matrix’s software, electrical and mechanical engineers, and technology specialists.

  • Work Standards – This could be the measurement and development of a variety of work standards. These standards might be in support of a measured day work program where the methods of pay could include hourly pay, graduated production pay, incentive or piece rate pay, or even some type of merit bonus incentive pay.
  • Methods Analysis – This could include the analysis, development, improvement, and documentation of any work methods
  • Ergonomic Analysis – Basically consists of designing/redesigning work methods and/or work aids/stations to better fit the job to the person
  • Product Flow Analysis – Review current manufacturing/product flows for bottlenecks or the removal of bottlenecks
  • Reports & Analysis – Quality reports, downtime analysis reports, procedural developments and recommendations for efficient tie in to payroll applications, vendor conformance reports, methods analysis and development, ergonomic analysis and workstation design, product flow analysis, material handling analysis and design, cost reduction initiatives, development of properly engineered work standards, project management assistance, production analysis and recommendations, scheduling programs, performance bonus programs, etc.
  • Plant and/or Equipment Layouts – Analysis for optimized product flow
  • Material Handling Equipment/Methods – This would include design and development aspects
  • Project Management Skills – Analysis, planning, timeline developments and implementation assistance
  • Cost Reduction Initiatives – Identify, quantify, and determine acceptable tracking methods for capital and/or expense cost reduction projects
  • Excess Cost Analysis – Provide insight as to the reasons for excess cost pay-outs that exceed normally expected standards. Make recommendations as to a viable means to reduce these pay-outs
  • Production Analysis – Evaluate machinery capabilities and derive realistic production expectations that reflect day to day constraints
  • Scheduling Analysis – Evaluate production scheduling methodologies to ensure a more consistent balanced and flexible schedule.
